Terms and Conditions

Welcome to “The American Scene Stealers” online acting competition, operated by Upfront Consulting LLC. By participating in this competition, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Entry Fee: Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of $25 to enter the competition. Payment must be made through the designated platform provided on our website.

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the competition. If an applicant is under the age of 18, their parent or legal guardian must complete the application process on their behalf.

Submission Requirements: Each applicant must submit a one-minute self-tape video of themselves performing a scene from their favorite movie. The video submission must adhere to the guidelines provided on our website, including technical specifications and content restrictions.

Rights: By submitting a video for the competition, applicants grant Upfront Consulting LLC and “The American Scene Stealers” the non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display the video worldwide in any media.

Copyright: Applicants must ensure that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use the content of their video submission, including any copyrighted material. Upfront Consulting LLC and “The American Scene Stealers” are not responsible for any copyright infringement resulting from the applicant’s video submission.

Selection Process: Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by Upfront Consulting LLC. The judges will evaluate each submission based on predetermined criteria, and finalists will be selected to advance to subsequent rounds of the competition.

Prizes: Prizes for the competition will be announced on our website. The winners will be determined based on the judging criteria and will be notified by email or phone.

Disqualification: Upfront Consulting LLC reserves the right to disqualify any applicant who violates the terms and conditions of the competition or engages in fraudulent or unethical behavior.

Changes to Terms: Upfront Consulting LLC reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the applicant to regularly review the terms and conditions for any changes.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed following the laws of [California], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
